From 1 January until 31 December 2016, the total recorded contributions for Greece amount to 184.5 million USD. UNHCR extends its special thanks to major donors to the refugee emergency in Europe – the European Union, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom – as well as to all government donors and private donors for their generous contributions.
In this changing operational context, UNHCR is appealing to donors to provide contributions that can be allocated as flexibly as possible.
